February 15-17, 2008, Kampala, Uganda—Judith Ganes Chase journeyed to Uganda to speak at the East African Finer Coffee Association (EAFCA) conference to give her views on the global supply and demand outlook. Her annual address has become a mainstay at this increasingly popular international venue. Prior conferences were held in Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. The association is comprised of ten producing countries in the region.
